Upon arrival at Serenity Spa, our spa staff will conduct a brief consultation to ensure that you receive the treatment best suited to your needs.  Please advise the receptionist if you are pregnant or have any specific health issues.  Advance booking is recommended.  Some master therapies need up to 48 hours notice


Cancellation Policy

In consideration of other spa guests, we recommend to reserve your spa treatment in advance. If you are unable to keep your spa appointment or would like to reschedule, please advise us with a 4 hour notice to avoid a cancellation fee.


Arriving Time

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to change and/or relax. Jacuzzis are available at both locations for your pleasure before or after your treatment. Spa robes, sandals, disposable panties are provided upon request. Showers, lockers and amenities are available. In the event that you are running late, we will try to complete your full treatment, but to avoid delaying the next guest, your treatment may be terminated at the designated time regardless of when you started.



Your privacy will be protected at all times.  Your therapist will leave the room so you can change in private and you will be draped at all times. We have male and female therapists and are completely professional and extremely well trained. Please advise us if you have a preference as the treatments are booked due to availability and not gender.



At Serenity Spa, we believe gratuities should be left to the discretion of our clients.  Therefore, we do NOT include gratuity.  However, a 15%-20% gratuity would be greatly appreciated by our therapists.


Spa Etiquette

For the consideration of all our guests, please turn off all cell phone devices. Please maintain a soft voice when enjoying the jacuzzi and surrounding spa areas.


Personal Possessions

It is recommended that you leave all your jewelry and personal possessions in your room or home safe.  We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage of personal items.


For your comfort

We encourage you to communicate to our spa associates any questions, concerns, health issues and/or special needs.  Although we try our best to anticipate your needs, please let us know if we can improve your treatment of spa experience.  Since we are in Costa Rica, where the native language is Spanish, not all our therapists speak English.  If you need to communicate any issue during your treatment, raise your hand and our therapist will bring a spa associate to translate your wishes.
